This paper deals with stability analysis of microswitch with considering of length scale parameters effect’s and using of modified couple stress theory. Studied case is a three plates swith, which in it, micro beam is suspended between two stationary plates. Such microswitch has been attract attention of some investigators, and some works have been accomplished in the case of static and dynamic stability of these switches. For reaserch in this field, governing static and dynamic equation of microswitch has been extracted and presented based on couple stress and classic beam theories. Step by step linearization method has been applied for solve of the governing nonlinear equation. Obtained results of static behavior and intability voltages in various condition of voltage ratio have been obtained and compared by couple stress and classic beam theories. Furthermore variation condition of frequency and capacitance of the switch depended to variation of applied voltages have been obtained and compared using mentioned theories.
